I enjoy my daytrips to the wonderful cities and villages that the Netherlands has to offer. It does not matter which season it is, all year round there is much to see and do. April till August is definitely my favourite time of the year. As I do a lot of outdoor activities like seeing the Dutch country side with my bike or with my SUP BOARD…
Why do I focus on the areas around Haarlemmermeer and the Bollenstreek? The list of my favourite spots in the Netherlands is endless. To tell about these places in the 12 Dutch provincies is too much for this website as medium. Maybe in the future it will create the opportunity for me to write a book about things to do and see in the Netherlands.
The Netherlands has 12 provincies :Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland, Flevoland, Utrecht, Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland, Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg.
